recording problem with audio creator

I have a stanton T.92 USB turntable and using windows 7 operating system, i bought and installed the audio creator software and installed the 1.52 patch but i can't get it to record. i installed audio creator LE that came with the turntable on my desktop which uses windows xp and wow no problems, recorded like a charm. windows7 is on my dell laptop. have been on the phone with dell support and issue is not resolved. Please help.

    113 hits and no one has encountered this problem, cakewalk apparently has a compatibility problem with it's software and windows7. this is really a helpful forum.

    I was very happy running Audio Creator in Windows XP but have had many problems with Windows 7, even with the 1.5.2 patch.

    Problems:

    Loud background electrical hum

    Fix: Set Recording input level as low as possible - 1

    Problems:

    Records in mono

    Fix:  Check settings  - it seems to switch back to single channel recording after installing 1.5.2

    Problems:

    Recording aborts with a message "Unable to save entire recording. The audio disk may be full."

    Fix:  Get back to me - not sure I've solved this one yet but I've reset the DiscRecBufSize in the aud.ini file to 528 and have cleaned out my picture cach.

    CORRECTION!
     
    I set the DisRecBuf Size to 512.
