recording with an iPad

Has anyone recorded with an iPad?     How would you hook it up to record in Sonar?

    Headphone out into soundcard/mixer with wifi midi? Or...
    Camera kit allows integration with class compliant soundcards over USB.

Lots of thatchers gold.
