recordomg audio

I have my laptop hooked to my m-audio ozonic midi control which is then running through my chaos pad which is then hooked to my creative external sound card via stereo plugs (red and white) I then hsve my stereo plaugs to my monitor speakers. My soundcard is hooked to my second PC via usb, I can play sounds from both live 4.0 as well as cakewalk but can not record anyhting from live 4.o (my laptop) to my secomd PC which has cakewalk on it. can anyone give me any help please?
