[resolved]Did I screw myself (by upgrading a Waves 9x plugin to 10)?

Arggggggh.
Wasn't thinking and upgraded my Waves Infected Mushroom Pusher plugin from v9 to v10.
Forgot I was using it on a drum track on a song and now Cakewalk says the plugin is missing.
Is there anyway to retrieve my settings to load in the v10 version?

    Found issue...
Song was using v9 VST3 version.
For some reason with v10 the VST3 version of IM Pusher was not in Cakewalk VST database (registry)
Tried reinstalling Waves IM Pusher - no change.
Had to run a reset on VST database then after rescanning it showed up and v10 version now loads up in the song with it's former settings.

It's a PITA but sometimes that's the only way to get Sonar/CbB to see a new plugin is to reset and rescan. And if you got a lot of plugins, it takes what seems like forever!!

Lots of weird stuff out there since V10. I thought maybe just take the plunge and WUP to all V10 but that doesn't seem to be the magical fix. I have had random plugins with blank black gui's. Couldn't find a fix but then it came back on it's own after a week or so. When I do go to V10 I will do an uninstall first and then go on a hunt for any trace of V9 and delete them all.

I find that Waves Central does a piss poor job of uninstalling Waves plugins. Especially if you have older versions.

I agree Grem. With V9 and V10 on the system and VST2 and VST3 they are all over the place. I have an Akai keyboard with VIP and when I look in the my plugin manager there areup to three of the same plugins scanned. I have come to believe that is why I had a blank GUI on some Waves plugins. I hate having so many scan paths on my computer.  The best reason I can come up with to re-up the WUP is cleaning up the mess.
