rex files in sonar 64 bit

hi!
i still have sonar 8.5 64 bit and i have just discovered i cannot directly import REX files. what a shame! :-/

I was wondering if the new sonar version (platinum, professional) will allow me to import directly into the project REX file and will permit to work with them as with standard wav files.
thx!

REX files will import. To edit as a standard wav they require a bounce.

Used them myself in 8.5 with no issues...I do believe I had to bounce them, though. (As stated above)

When imported, REX files essentially become Groove Clips. You can see where the REX slices are if you open the file in the Loop Construction window, but you can't edit the transient markers as you can Grove Clip transient markers.
