I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THIS MORNING!!!!
the drive the the wrong one in the optinos menu . choose another one (\d)

Hi everyone - Try this. Do not use the Tools\Drag and Drop Drummer - as you discovered it is grayed out. Put your D&D drummer CD in your drive but access the CD via Loop Explorer under the "View" menu. You will have to navigate through the directories to the Audio folder and then chooe the "kit" and tempo you want and drag the clips from there. Its very straight-forward. Be sure and set the tempo in your project to match the tempo of the loop you are dragging. However, you are limited to the choice of tempos provided (on my GT2 CD the max is 115 bpm). The D&D Lite data is not ACIDidized. This is discussed in the README file included with the program.

You can also use Windows Explorer the same way. When buying future loops make sure they are ACIDized. Good luck! Zmoon.

Um, that didn't work, they still were ALL gray.

I am not sure Beneaththesoil, but i think that was tried and it was just as Inconvienient accessing the folder the loops was saved to, as you had to access the folder each time for each different loop which took even longer than using the CD, an attempt was even made to alter the registry (very dodgy) to access the new folder direct from GT but this also did not work very well and was'nt worth the hassle. I dont know about GTP2 or GTP3 as i only have GT2 and assumed Strat2000 had GT2 as i think drag & drop dummer lite was changed to somthing better after GT2, perhaps thats why you are able to copy the loops to a folder and older versions dont seem to be able to.
But all that aside, Strat the answer to your question is still valied and a feeling its the correct answer to your problem. " />

If that's the case, why can't you just explore the Cd and copy all the loops you want to a new folder? Thats what I did with the GTP2 & GTP3 disks. Works good and no searchin' fo disks" />

Hi Strat, you must have your Cakewalk disk in your disk drive to access the loops, very annoying, several attempts have been made to get around this but as yet it seems the only way, suggest you make a copy of your Guitar Tracks CD if your able and use the copy and keep the original for back up as cds tend to get scratched puting them in and taking out all the time, hope this works, good luck.

When I try to import a loop and I click on the loop button in drag and drop ALL the loops are gray so you can't click on any loop. (you know, when you try to do something and the option is in gray, so it won't let you click on it) I really want to import loops!! Help!!!!!!!!!
