hi robin. I don't have good news for you, unfortunately. My first suggestion would have been to do exactly as you have already done - download MIDIOX and see if the MIDI data is being transmitted. if you're not getting all of the data but you are getting some of it, then that tells me it's very very likely going to be an incompatibility problem with the USB MIDI cable to your keyboard. we've seen several people have problems using a yamaha keyboard and a non-yamaha MIDI/USB cable. I have a yamaha keyboard and a non-yamaha USB/MIDI cable, but there have been several others who tell us that this is a bad combination for some of the yamaha keyboards.

I'd advise you to return the Logilink USB/MIDI cable and get a yamaha brand USB/MIDI cable.

Firstly thanks in advance for any potential help you guys may be able to provide. I'm almost at the end of my patience.

I have a Yamaha YPT-210 keyboard connected to a Logilink USB to MIDI interface.

I purchased MC to allow me to record MIDI data from the keyboard to played out using the synth on my sound card.

Upon playing notes back on the keyboard I will receive only one note playback from the interface.

I've downloaded MIDI-OX and I appear to be receiving data from the keyboard but only one note per about every 10 second interval.

Can anyone help ?
