Rickbass Needs Help (Beagle)

from Steve Cox, technical support:
If you're running Win7 x64, you may need to add the x86 Program Files path (which is different than your normal Program Files) manually.

Go to Options | Global | VST Plug-ins
Click Add and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Cakewalk\vstplugins
Once added, click the Scan VST Folders button

Hope that clears up the problem.

Steve Cox
Technical Support
Cakewalk
Studio Intruments in Home XL? Rickbass Needs Help (Rickbass)

 Hey Everyone,

Kinda new. I can't get studio instruments to appear. I have installed and re-installed. The program sees the VST plug-in Studio Instruments SI Folders on the 'C' Drive and there are the 'Shared' Plug-IN folders on the 'F' Drive, which is the extra hard drive I set up for audio data. There are no Studio Instruments there, no SI Folder on the 'F' Drive. I am Running 64 bit win 7 which I've had no problem with, despite all the mac commercials. ha-ha. Really! even gaming! Anyway, Cakewalk is so much more fun. I listed Specs below. I used Cakewalk VST4 Adapter which recognizes SI also, but still no luck, the Cakewalk Home StudioXL program does not see studio instruments yet. I can't get the program to run. I also followed the instuctions in the Studio Instuments help file. This is a last resort email. I Thank you humbly for any help

RickBass
