I'm at work now so I wasn't in front of my DAW.

I'll double check and report back.

Thanks again!

Jon

I don't sweat the small stuff. You have at least a 50% chance of hitting the right track. <img src="http://forum.cakewalk.com/upfiles/smiley/s4.gif" alt="" data-smiley="" />

Re:Another Superior 2.0 Question... SORRY! (jrobbins2112)

Just a quick addendum to this post.

This isn't a tragic problem at the moment since 8.3 is still working great for me.

If I find out what I'm doing wrong I'll post up the solution just in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

I have a feeling this is a user error....hehehe Just not sure what it is as of yet.

BUT I am still curious.. is anyone triggering Superior 2.2 in 8.5.1 64 bit with an electric kit?

Jon

Another Superior 2.0 Question... SORRY! (jrobbins2112)

Hey All,

Noel and the folks where kind enough to give me the older version of bitbridge (the CW workaround) so I could move on up to 8.5.1 64 bit Windows 7 and be able to use Superior! WOOT!

I thought all was well.... and then.....

The kits load fine.... I can trigger Superior from the Superior interface by using the mouse and clicking on the any of the "drums" on the superior interface.... AND I can also trigger from the Piano Roll view using the mouse... and I can draw notes in the Piano roll view, hit play and hear superior just fine and dandy. (I am using a custom drum map I made for my Roland setup by the way).

Here in lies the big problem. For some reason when I physically play my Roland kit.... it doesn't seem to trigger Superior?

I am using the same drum map that I have been using..... I went back and opened 8.3..... and my kit triggers Superior just fine... with the EXACT same setup.

Is there something that I'm doing wrong in 8.5 that anyone can think of? Has anyone had this problem.

Is there a button I need to push in 8.5 that I have never had to engage before? I have been using Sonar since version 4.

It just doesn't seem like this is a bit bridge or jbridge kinda issue.... it looks like the input from my Rolands aren't getting to the plug-in for some reason.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jon

PS. I have been following EVERY thread on the forum concerning Superior working in this environment... so I think I'm kinda up to speed on most everything. I DID NOT use Jbridge.... just the older build of bitbridge that CW provided.... AGAIN; TRIGGERS FINE in 8.3 still.
