If your using onboard sound chips, then thats your problem, there no good with low latency

and i can still record and everything but its suppose to be all the way to the left

Who said that? use what ever settings works for you. If your not having any problems, like you just said above, then dont change a thing.
Low latency is only needed if your triggering soft synths or using input echo. I would still invest in an audio sound card, if your using an onboard chip. You'll notice a vast improvement.
Cj
Re:sonar 7 buffer size (RabbitSeason)

You'll need to tell us what you've got (equipment/specs) before anybody can help.

Re:sonar 7 buffer size (taxwell)

i am new with sonar so please give me some help!

sonar 7 buffer size (taxwell)

I use sonar 7 and i have my buffer size all the way to the right(Safe) and i can still record and everything but its suspose to be all the way to the left(fast) but whenever i put it all the way to the left the whole playback sounds horrible(slow and makes weird noises) Help!
