(bloodsheddragon)

Yes, the synths are still there and usable in other songs.
Also, what I've recorded already is still there and works. However, I can't add any new synths, as they're names are grayed out in the new track menu.
On the new song I copied simply the MIDI files and pasted them into a new softsynth.
Re:Help- All SoftSynths disabled! (Guitarhacker)

You should always stop playback before doing anything like add a track etc....

Are the synths still there in the computer? check in your VST folder and look for the .dll files. If so, maybe it simply lost the address.... go back to Vst/plugin manager and see if they need reconnecting. I've not heard of this happening.....

Are you sure you copied from a midi track to another midi track and not accidentally into an audio track.... that might explain the non-working synths and the grayed out names.....
Re:Help- All SoftSynths disabled! (bloodsheddragon)

Alright, what I did was copy all the MIDI files from the original song to a new one with the same synths.
However, I managed to break that one too.

Here's how it happens; I'll play a song, accidentally go to the add track menu, then stop the music with the add track music. Then, it won't allow me to do anything you can't do with the track playing (such as adding a synth), and reopening the file, restarting cakewalk, restarting the PC, and disabling/enabling the audio engine have no effect.
Help- All SoftSynths disabled! (bloodsheddragon)

Hello,
Using Cakewalk Music Creator 5, I deleted a MIDI clip I had in my drum track and tried pasting in another MIDI clip by pressing ctrl+V. Nothing happened. However, when I went to add a track, all of my soft synths- from studio instruments and cakewalk sound center to synths I had downloaded off the internet- were greyd out and unable to be selected. I tried opening another song and reopening the song, and it didn't work. I tried restarting cakewalk, which also didn't work. Finally, I restart the computer- and the synths were still unavailable.
Any Ideas?

P.S.
It's only happening on that one song.
