(Ursa)

Hi!

The topic says it all. In Windows XP you could just open the mixer, and you could see your line-in and select it for monitoring. In Vista, it seems impossible. Has anyone succeeded in turning monitoring on your line-in signal (also called un-muting the input channel)?

Read this post for more details: http://www.vistax64.com/vista-general/114048-using-headphones-hear-line-sound.html#post1192957

I have kinda the same problem. But I figured it should be an easy fix since I've invested in professional sound gear, but maybe I'm wrong?

The reason I want to do this is because I've got my guitar going into my Micro Cube guitar amp, and sending the signal directly to the input on my SPS25 sound card. I'd hoped I could play guitar through my desktop sound system/speakers since they are very much better than the tiny Micro Cube speaker.

Thans for all help!! It's HUGELY appreciated :D (especially when Microsoft conspiracies towards the music makers).
