At 149.99 I may have to buy 2.

As they are ony 49 note it may partly help to address the lack of keys, but it would not be the same as a 88 key.

If you use VSTi with keyswitches you could use the second board for that.

It would be pretty handy for controlling somthing like B4 II as you would have upper and lower manuals (or indeed any time you need to play two sounds at the same time. it would bet a split.
Re:Midi Keyboard Controller Recommendations (papa2005)

Just my 2¢ worth, but one day I think you'll regret having sold the Triton (and wish you had ANY 88-key controller)...

Re:Midi Keyboard Controller Recommendations (liv4ree)

Would there be any advantages to having 2 pcr-500's connected? This is what I wrote:

I just picked up an Edirol PCR- 500 at Guitar Center for $167.00 plus tax. They are discontinued and GC is blowing them out. You can't get them on the website, you have to go into the store.

I have to say I love this thing. It works with Sonar almost perfectly. I think I like this better than the new A-Pro Series (the PCR's have 16 drum pads, the A-Pro's only have 8).

Just thought I'd pass on the info.

Lateef
Re:Midi Keyboard Controller Recommendations (liv4ree)

alled my local guitar center. Does anyone have any experience with this unit?

I've had one for about 18 months. Works great straight out of the box. I use the controller part of it to control synths/plugins etc. I also use it in a non-Sonar environment occasionally via MIDI to my Sonic Cell.

I'm a guitarist at heart so I'm sure a pianist/keyboard player may like a better action but it's great for me and what I use it for. Easy to set up and more functions than I'm ever going to use, Cheap at the mo as well due to the release of the new keyboard mentioned above.
Re:Midi Keyboard Controller Recommendations (garrigus)

Yep, I have one.
