To clarify, it's the plug-in settings INSIDE the project that are not found. I get missing plug-in error on any update.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I still have the same issue after going from waves 6 to 7. I loose all the plugin settings. I am out of support again with waves. Hate to have to pay $300 to get this fix to this.

Re:How can I keep SONAR plug-in settings when I update Waves plug-ins? (CP)

So, I keep holding off on plug-in updates - particularly Waves, because every time I update, any project I had now can't find the plug-in because it's looking for the old version. Today, I ran the Waves 6.8 installer to run my CLA bundle and lo and behold all my projects can't find my plugins (6.0.7 is the version they're looking for, not 6.8).

Is there a SAVE ALL VST PLUG-IN SETTINGS FOR THIS PROJECT option anywhere?

A typical project I do has 50-100 tracks of audio and usually dozens of plug-ins, so going in to each project and song and manually saving them is out of the question. My PT system recognizes the new version as the same plug-in, so this seems to be SONAR only.

What the hell do you guys do?

I have three Windows installs here because of the way SONAR handles plug-ins. Q10 V6 is still Q10 V6, SSL E Channel V6 is still SSL E Channel V6. Why should the little decimal make it not recognized?
