Yes. In SHS 7, as an alternative to the quick export (can't recall what it is called) there is a "live input" box at the bottom of the export window, right below the checkbox for "audible bounce". I suspect that the problem may be that 2G of memory in my computer are insufficient to do this when running soft synths, even when freezing or bouncing midi tracks. I found that the sliders on the Axiom work, but there is a 5 second delay from when you move the slider on the Axiom until you see the slider move on screen.

Do you mean exporting in real-time, as you move faders etc?
I don't think i've heard of anyone doing this with SHS.

If you want to do that, i'd recommend using envelopes to change whatever needs amending mid-project, and then exporting that in the usual manner.

I'm not sure what a "live export mix to audio" is. is this a function of SHS?

I cannot figure out how to do a live export mix to audio. I have the live input box and audible bounce boxes checked but when I am at the mixing screen, I just see an hourglass and I cannot adjust any of the faders on the screen. The only thing it will let me do is cancel. The Axiom 49 likewise seems to be disabled.
