The manual suggests that you create an audio track, put the stereo audio out of the Fantom in the input from the VS 700 menu. Enable the input echo and arm to record on the audio track, disable the other input echos on other tracks, especially the synth, and put the VS 700 in the output of the synth audio out track. then just record-play real time, the midi in the synth track.
You can actually do a 16 track synth recording this way if you've set up midi data and channels on 16 input tracks. You can also set up a left and right output with the Fantoms audio outs and record two audio tracks instead of a single stereo track. Or do a set number of the Midi tracks at a time to seperate audio tracks for mixing purposes. Whatever you do, don't try to make a left-right-and stereo Fantom audio output, it will cause problems. I think I got all that right, but check the Fantom manual, it's in there.
Bouncing a Fantom track (Westside Steve)

So, in order to bounce a Fantom track to an audio track I would select the midi track and the Fantom synth track and bounce to track.
Is that right?

Cheers

WSS
