Yup. That was it. When they wanted the SN of the VS-100, they didin't want the SN off the VS-100, they wanted the SN off the Software.

That's interesting. I'll try that. Would have been nice to have mentioned that online during registration as the drop down for product is VS-100 not Sonar VS.

Yeah, I think I had this problem also, I was putting in the wrong serial number

If I remember correctly you register the software not the hardware.

The serial number you entered is not valid for the product you are trying to register.
Please make sure you have entered the serial number correctly and selected the correct product and version then try again.
If you continue to have problems trying to register with this serial number please contact customer service to verify ownership.
