Jeff B. I had the same problem and it was a Windows related problem. Open guitars tracks ,go to options, midi devices, and if there is a box checked with Microsoft GS Wavetable, uncheck it. Im running Vista, so I dont know if this will help you on Windows 7 64 bit, but it worked for me. Also after I unchecked it, it seemed to cure another issue of the lights on the hardware not lighting up. Whenever I armed a track to record, the lights on the control surface would not light but now they do after unchecking Microsoft gs wavetable. Hope this works for you.

Transport Buttons Play Piano Sound When Pressed (jeffbvox)

Ok, this is really annoying, whenever I hit one of the transport buttons, either in the software or on the v-studio 20, a piano sound is played through the computer speakers. I cannot find a setting to turn this off. I am using Guitar Tracks 4.0.4.71 on windows 7 64 bit. Does anyone have any idea on how to turn this off?
