The Fantom will work fine in Windows 7 64-bit as long as you're using the 32-bit version of SONAR, which also runs fine under Windows 7 64-bit. I know that there were some issues with running the Fantom under SONAR 64-bit, as far as I know they haven't been addressed yet.

As you can see, its been 8 months and counting since the issues were confirmed. I would have to say at this point don't count on it ever being fixed and factor that into your buying decision.

Before i order the VS-700 i need to know if the Fantom VS will work in windows 7 64 bit? My who set up is 64 bit and runs lovely - i wouldnt go backwards just to run it. I have the VS - 100 and love its versatility and stability but i really wanna upgrade to the 700 and use the 100 for gigs and as a mobile recording solution. Question 2. If the Fantom doesnt work in 64 bit - are there any plans to make this happen? Appreciate your time
