I've used the free versions of AVG &amp;amp; Avast as well in the past and MSE is much better than those two (IMO). Basically, MSE is&amp;nbsp;very non-intrusive and&amp;nbsp;zero bloatware, but with full functionality. It's set up&amp;nbsp;to scan at 3:00am when I'm not on the DAW and I've never had any virus's, trojans, worms etc...on my PC (then again, I don't visit any&amp;nbsp;of those "hazardous" sites).&amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;     &lt;br&gt;     I also use the free version&amp;nbsp;of Advanced System Care by Iobit to keep my PC regularly cleaned (malware scanner, cookies/browser history, registry cleaner, removes spyware/adware etc..)&amp;nbsp;to keep it&amp;nbsp;optimized for better performance.&amp;nbsp;It also monitors my PC's performance in real time&amp;nbsp;and has a fast/good defragger. &amp;nbsp;&lt;br&gt;     &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;</description><link>http://forum.cakewalk.com/rss-m2373799.ashxFindPost/2373916</link><pubDate>Fri, 26 Aug 2011 14:56:19 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Re:Microsoft Security Essentials question (Sidroe)</title><description> I have been using MSE for almost a year now. Have you found it to provide adequate protection or did you have to get something else in conjunction with it? Also more interested in people who are using one computer for their home use as well as DAW use.
