T-Racks Standard Processors are the original 4 processors that came with T-Racks. Classic Clipper, Classic Equalizer, Classic Compressor, Classic Multi-Band Limiter AND you get the Metering Suite single and the T-Racks 3 Shell. Does that answer your question?

Well, if you buy CSR on IK's site for $229, you do get two other products of equal value - still a great bargain. But as long as both the CSR and T-Racks version offered by MF can be updated, that's also quite a deal.

I'm still evaluating - to be honest, I don't really need more compressors and eq's and I have a fairly good reverb (Valhalla DSP). Plus I ended up grabbing that WaveArts tube saturator because the sale was ending - so much for the 30 days fully functional demo.

Still, I'm sure I'll end up buying CSR, one way or another.

I too would like to know what differences there are between the T-Racks standard and this mastering bundle (if any)?

On the IK site, CSR is going for $229.....  At MF you can get CSR + 4 more plugs for $99 which all can be updated to the newest versions. So, the $129 difference you pay at IK allows you to get 2 more items (free) valued at $229 ea. (via the group buy)?

Can you combine the value of the 2 free items and get 1 item?

I don't think you answered the question about the T-Racks standard. Does the formentioned software give us the mastering T-Racks standard software?

I didn't know any IK stuff had iLok's? This also stopped me in my tracks....

I know their T-Racks 3.X stuff doesn't require iLoks, and I didn't think the CSR required one, either, but under the Specifications tab it states "Classik Studio Reverb boxed version comes equipped with iKey." Not sure what it all means ... perhaps there is a newer version of CSR that doesn't require the key? Misprint in the ad, maybe? Obi, where are you?

Ooops - didn't know about the iLock. That would be a deal breaker for me, unfortunately.

Its still a great deal getting CSR and the 4 original T-Racks processors. And yes you would be eligible to get the latest versions of them as well. :)

I just looked at this deal, and it does include the ORIGINAL T-Racks processors, along with an iKey for the Classic Studio Reverb. Does the current version of CSR take a hardware key? Or is an "iKey" not a hardware key? Obi, you say we are "eligible" to get the latest versions, but does that require an upgrade fee? I don't really need the T-Racks processors, but it would be worth it to get a non-keyed version of the CSR for $99, providing I didn't have to pay an upgrade fee.

Julien, just FYI, after verification, this particular bundle does not qualify for the group buy (thanks Obi for verifying and getting back to me with a quick answer :)

I still have not ordered it - as tempting as it is - mainly due to the fact that I'm shopping for a particular piece of gear this week and the extra $100 may be required. I've also read a few reviews where people mention having issues registering. These are older products, so I guess there could be issues with the new authorization system.

I'm sure it's nothing the folks at IK couldn't get solved for us if it happened, but, anyway, just sharing the info.

If you happen to buy it, there are a few promo codes which can be used to take another $10 off at musician's friend. ;) PM me if you need more info
