I found that out when wondering why it was hanging while trying to process some multi tracked drums. Once I'd split and deleted that portion (as opposed to slip edit) it went away.

Having said that halfway through a drum track the silence is unlikely to be that long unless you know some of the drummers I do. <----That's a joke for any of you drummers that I know out there....
Re:Quantizing multi-tracked drums with Audiosnap (bluzdog)

     JazzSinger

How much beat correction did you have to do? (esp. the slowdown part)

Not a lot but is was noticable prior to quantizing. The cool part is how well the overheads lined up with the close mics.

Rocky

Re:Quantizing multi-tracked drums with Audiosnap (JazzSinger)

How much beat correction did you have to do? I have six tracks: Kick, Snare, 2 overheads and 2 toms. There was a part in the song where the drummer just slowed down (insert drummer joke here).
Sonar X1 d Producer (64 bit) hung up a bit while processing and while saving the project but did recover to complete the processing and save. I check my rescources and was never over 30% CPU and 3 gig (out of 8) ram. After I bounced to clips Sonar smoothed out and became more responsive again. The overall process was a success and I’m pretty happy with the end result. Any ideas why my computer got so hung up? ( Dell Studio Laptop - Intel i5 2 core 2.25 processor with 8 gigs of ram).

Rocky
