Maybe believe your customers when we tell you all our other plugins from other vendors work and authorise just fine. Maybe go back to the coding board and develop a functional authorisation process for OSX or dare I say it just a serial number or download link specific to the user - like FabFiter, Like Audio Damage, Like DMGAudio, Like u-he and many many many more. If there is a crashing issue with the new patch please start a new thread about this. Please also note whiteouts where the DAW recovers is not a crash that's just performance which has already been discussed extensively everywhere.

From my perspective Rapture Pro is stable, there are just a heck of a lot of other issues.

Let's try to be specific as possible about our issues, it's far too easy to generalize <img src="http://forum.cakewalk.com/upfiles/smiley/s1.gif" alt="" data-smiley="" />

Cheers
Re: Response to issues with Rapture Pro (komposer)

I suspect corporate had a schedule based on marketing that production woefully missed but didn't want to fess up to the reality of the program's state. There's also a content update in the works (sorry, no details as to when yet). If there are particular programs that aren't working for you, it'd be helpful to know which specific ones (please submit via a problem report). If there's a bunch of programs that don't work for you, you might need to troubleshoot how your content is currently installed, which Support can definitely help you with.

May I ask why Rapture Pro was even released at all in the chaotic state it is currently in? I could understand if only a few people were having problems with it, but there are several with similar issues. Rap Pro is the worst experience I've ever had with a Cakewalk Product. I hope it doesn't take to long to fix.

Re: Response to issues with Rapture Pro (DOCTORWAVESII)

I have an i7 , 6 ram,Windows 7, regular hard drive other words no SSD,Rapture original loads in 2-3 sec. Rapture Pro stand alone still loads slow after update, over 10 minutes. I completely deleted and uninstall the old rapture pro files before the update. In hind sight I would have preferred Rapture Pro to have not been backwards compatible with Dim Pro and Rapture, a feature which at the start was a plus for me, but now, not so much.

Haven't had a chance to check out the wildly different volumes of some of the Rapture Pro factory patches that existed, one or 2 of which were barely audible, can't remember which ones they were now, so would have to go through the lot, which I don't have time for right now.

I never had any problems other than silent patches, which I still have, never had the slow loading or anything, haven't used Rapture Pro since about a week after release, so it could be imaginitus, but if anything it is loading slower now, not extremely so, but I checked some of my older posts here about it, and it indeed does seem to be slower for me.
Re: Response to issues with Rapture Pro (bjornpdx)

The 2.01 update seems to have fixed the issues I had with RP. It loads quickly and I can access the presets that didn't work before.
Some of the presets are way loud so I don't use headphones when auditioning them. Same with Z3TA. Dimension pro interface is near instant, rapture pro is about 6-8 seconds. Maybe because of reading the huge library content. The problem is solved before I reported it!
