I'd try tightening up that guitar, it's off just a tad (the pattern at :07 seconds until :14 seconds, for example).

Thanks Richard.I went back and listened to that part, and yes it is off a little. The 2nd guitar part almost gives it a delay effect.I'm gonna eventually give this song a full makeover.Ive got some better drum samples, and I'm gonna work on the guitar tones. The first guitar riff(midi) is gonna be replaced by real guitar also.

Thanks for listening.

RE: "See You Smile" New Song (Richard Brian)

ORIGINAL: MofineStudios

See You Smile Feedback of any kind appreciated.

Hi Steve, hey I like this. No real stuff?

The guitar tone that I changed is real.Strat goin direct through a preamp, using Amplitude. The only samples I used are the drums, bass, and the very first riff(that is also repeated throughout the song).Tried using my strat for the very first riff, but just couldnt get it tight enough, using MIDI I was able to nail it.Guess thats cheating.

RE: "See You Smile" New Song (MofineStudios)

This is all from samples? The instruments sound really electronic. The mix is pretty good. Nice separation but the sounds are not believable. Not crazy about the guitar tone either.

The drums are the ones that come with Sonar. No piano, although some parts might sound like it.Most of the guitar parts is a Strat going in direct through a PreSonus TubePre,using Amplitude.Just started using Amplitude, and need to experiment with it some more.I agree that the guitar tone could be better, and I do need to get some better samples. The very first guitar part(and is repeated throughout the song)is a distorted les paul sound font that came with Sonar.

Thanks Alot for the comments.

RE: "See You Smile" New Song (zepo1a)

ORIGINAL: MofineStudios

at :05,gonna experiment and try something different.Suggestions would sure be great.

Try going with the distortion theme throughout for the guitar at :05, just keep it in the back like the guitar sound you have now for that part.

Zep--

RE: "See You Smile" New Song (MofineStudios)

I actually liked the reverb (or whatever it is) on the vocals in that middle part around 1:20.

I used a little bit of chorus and reverb for the vocals, and the vocal part starting at 1:15 is duel vocals.I too wasn't sure about the guitar tone starting at :05,gonna experiment and try something different.Suggestions would sure be great.

Thanks alot for your comments.

RE: "See You Smile" New Song (mwalter)

I like the song allot.

Your vocal performance is really cool.
