I have the A-300PRO, but have not encountered this issue yet. Hopefully never, but I filed this away just in case.

I would like to download the latest version of the A-PRO controller program to control SONAR PLATINUM WITH my A-800PRO.

All of the downloads for the A-PRO controllers such as the Sonar control surface plugin and drivers are still available at the Roland site, except for the SMF file mentioned earlier in this thread.

I completely agree. It's insane that these files aren't more readily available. You can find the SMF Update app (PC and OSX), but nothing to send to your controller. Even if you were to take this to a repair shop, they wouldn't be able to help you.

The P00001.mid file worked and fixed my issue instantly. I strongly urge any A-Pro owners to keep this file on their computer just-in-case. To anyone having this issue in the future (I found this wonderful forum through Google), register and reply here. I'll gladly help anyone, just like Sixfinger did for me. (I'm subscribed to this thread, so I'll get e-mail notifications from here on out.)
