Is there are padlock at the left end of the clip. If so, then the clip is locked. To unlock/lock all clips, select all and then CTRL+K

I called up an old project and found that I couldn't move any clip along the same track or to a new track. Cut/Paste works but that's very tedious - anyone got a clue why I can't move anything? Is there a 'lock' that could be on somewhere?
