schOPE? from Stillwell Audio?

Who's using schOPE in SONAR?

http://www.stillwellaudio.com/?page_id=26

I have Voxengos Gliss EQ and enjoy overlaying response curves with it.

This schOPE plugin seems pretty cool.

Is anyone using it in SONAR? How does it work? Can you use it on any track? Is it a more natural fit on a bus?

Am I making it too complicated?

thanks,
mike

Don't know the answer to your question but did a lot of searching a few months ago for visualizers and here's a brief synopsis:

    1. MicroSchope - free, less-pretty version of Schope. http://www.stillwellaudio.com/?page_id=31
    2. Schope - You've already seen. Looks very good and inexpensive.
    3. Nugen Visualizer - Super duper visualizer, more expensive than the others. http://www.nugenaudio.com/visualizer.php
    4. Boost11 - To just compare waveforms, add one before and after the effect
    5. s(m)exoscope - Free, displays waveforms only. http://bram.smartelectronix.com/plugins.php?id=4

All of them seem to work fine in Cakewalk on tracks and busses.

    Thanks,

I'm finding out that to use the schOPE you have to temporarily route to it, and perhaps set up a multi channel track to see 4 lanes at once... it's not what I expected but I really like the overlay concept. It almost as if you have to mess up your mix to use the full feature set... The Gliss EQ can be set up to overlay 4 channels but also be transparent to your mix.

I guess I'll have to install it and give it a test.

    best,
    mike
