screen capture movie software

is there a free version of a screen capture software that allows you to capture movies of sonar workflows? nothing fancy, just stable and working alongside Sonar ...

    hmmm, funny - when i try to download the install exe from camstudio.org to my tablet i get the message that the website was reported to Microsoft as being unsafe ... never had that before, i wonder if i should dare to proceed ... ???

    I use one called NetVideoHunter. It integrates right into Firefox and couldn't be easier to use. I  use it to grab YouTube videos - I've got all of Dan Worrall's vids on disk so I could take them along on holiday to my internet-challenged island.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    I couldn't get Camstudio to work well at all. Sometimes it records the picture without the audio. The times it did record both, the frame rate was ridiculous, regardless of my settings. Perhaps I was doing something wrong...who knows?
