select only tracks with data in track view

I have a template with many more tracks that I use in any one project.  I don't want to delete these tracks as I may want to add additional instruments as I work, however, for the most part I want to hide these tracks.  It would be nice to be able to easily select just tracks that currently have any data/notes in them.
