session drummer

Hello all,After posting Qs about plugs/effects,I got great suggestions,THANKs!My not so new problem is "session drummer".It has NEVER shown up? I thought it was a 64bit prob. so Ive uninstalled/reinstalled[numerous times]in both 32 &64,which is what I currently have of STUDIO X1[bought $199 box from "gigasonic"]I also have the TRIAL version of Producer X1 64 which I want to buy,by the cake download[$199]I know this is total Noob stuff but,HOW do or CAN I burn a REINSTALLABLE disc [CDR/DVDR?] of the down load?I NEED to know since Ive found[like many, that ive read about]that W7 slows down after a few months, and by doing a FRESH reinstall of W7[Dell dont give the W7 disc, thanks Dell!]by doing the "Dell Factory Reimage",it makes the PC[or inthis case-XPS 15 L502x i7 2630QM,Seagate 750GB HDD 8BG RAM]go back to being as when I/YOU-first get the machine ie,FAST.Ive scanned plugins in "prefferences etc all to NO AVAIL!Is there something Im MISSING as Ive only used a computer for less than a year,so Im sure theres TONs of stuff to learn and find the people HERE are quite able in giving novices info, however all the searches of posts etc, have not addressed these 2 specific issues THANK YOU,CHEERS.

Anyway If I understand your problem, your SD# is not showing up. Are you going to the Synth rack and it doesn't show up in the list?

Yes exactly,by the way I was lucky enough to visit Vancouver in 92 as well as Whistler and Campbell River on the island, very beautiful place. But yes I believe Session Drummer2 is in Studio but its never shown up!?Also what about the download,Im very nervous of downloading and then "losing THe download"although Ive just realised it will always be in"downloads" in W7,but how do you burn a particular file? This Laptop included "Roxio Burn"software.THANKS.

Session Drummer 2 is not included in X1 Studio. X1 Producer does come with Session Drummer 3.
You might find this comparison chart helpful:

Check your Roxio help file. It should show you how to gather specific files for burning to DVD.

Or you could save the X1 download to a flash drive. Drag and drop.

I just went to whistler last week and visited some falls, did some miniature golf and a mining museum. really nice. where is your session drummer being installed on? In W7 (at least in mine) there are two program files, one prgram files and one program files(x86).

I don't own roxio but my guess is something similar to this: Put in a blank cd in and open roxio and find something like burn files to disc. Browse for the files and burn the CD! Another way is when you put a black cd in, a plug and play dialog will pop up and click burn using windows explorer. Add a title for your disc click next and a window should pop up. drag the files you want to burn on the cd into that window. after copying the files you want to burn just right click in the open space and click burn to disc.

Hope that helps
