session drummer room mics

Just got done creating a drum part for a song using Step Sequencer. All of the drums are routed to different tracks.

The last track part of the tracks which I am assuming is supposed to be the room Mics., seems to be just all the tracks combined. Does not really sound like what a room mic would sound like.

Do I really need to include this, for a well rounded sound?  Do you guys include it?

I bounced all the individual tracks from s.s. to audio tracks.

Pentium 4,
Vista Premium 64 bit
Dual Quad
8 gigs of ram
Delta 44
Sonar Producer 8.5.3

Only your ears can tell. An overall ambience on the drums master bus could also be an option. Try.

Do you mean the Buss section? I don't use it myself, i just route the mics to the 8 Sonar outputs.
Like JS said, it depends what works best for you.

I didn't think that SD had the 'room mic' thing, I think that final pair is a submix (which would explain what you're hearing also!) I'd be inclined to sack it off and rack up a couple of nice, short, ambience patches in perfect space (the bricasti ones are my 'goto' and are available free online fairly readily) and tweak out the space of your individual and bussed drum tracks with those.

One thing you can do is do a stereo mix using bounce then EQ most of the bass out of the stereo track and add some room reverb. Then blend a little of that in with the rest of the tracks.
