sfz+ update

I don't want to be a pain...but we still wait for an update for 64bit and more than 2gb RAM

Any news René?

Well, I can imagine there are some burocracy behind with Cake, normal stuff I must say...since sfz (the free one) is working with multithreading and more than 2gb RAM since rene fixed it almost two months ago, it doesn't display the "not enough memory to load the soundfont"

I say, I can understand if there's a special procedure with Cake, but it shouldn't be hard to fix I guess.

yes this time the people with teh freebie get looked after and the people that paid for the commercial version get screwed. I've just got sfz+ sitting there useless praying for this simple fix.

What's the problem with dual procs? I'm running sfz+ (VSTi) with multi-processor enabled in Sonar.

Did you tried using multiple instances playing at the same time?

Damn, really this update is lagging too much.

Not till now - and I wont be trying it again!

16 channels of soundfonts is enough for me, though. Hope it gets fixed for you.

I just trried to instances in cubase sx3 on my core2 duo and the noise produced sounded akin to blasting and screeching.

16 channels is fine, but I am not seeing 16 individual outputs. Still, bug.
