...so do I still need z3ta+1 for my old projects?

as above- very excited to now own z3ta+2. doing a fresh install of my OS (It's high time)

...do I need to install z3ta+1 for my old projects to load or can I just install z3ta 2? eg cubase and sonar projects with old z3ta1 vsts in the track?

    You still need the older Z3TA+ if your previous project uses them. 

    Older project will not automatically recognize / open the new Z3TA+ 2.
