I love it. Your touch was perfect. Very sensitive and full of emotion.
You did great. The tone and feeling is spot on.
No rush, no ego, no competition, no "look at me", no too much of anything, no BS.
It's just a really nice moment and mood.

Great job.

That was lovely Tom. Yes, I could hear a few familiar phrases, but not so familiar that I could say where they were from. Just a beautiful piece, very well played.

Geez, pieces like this make me wish I was a piano player. 2 AM in a smoky bar with a tumbler of whiskey and a mysterious brunette at the front table.
Great sound, great playing, nothing else to say, except thanks for sharing.

Beautiful music, Tom.  Actually moved me.  I thought I commented the other day but..... Anyway, my friend, this is a song worth listening to!  Man, I always wished I could play keys.  Just never did it.  You did!!!  BTW, the jazzy rifs toward the end were just wonderful!  You are quite talented.

Beautiful piece, Tom -- your playing is sublime.  I did hear some small sections that sounded somewhat "familiar" but hey, whatayagonnado?  I hope you get much traction with your new release.  :)

Thanks all!

Allan, thank you for the kind words.  I'm actually getting ambivalent about it because it's just to sell a couple CD's when I play in restaurants. I can't wait to get back to the psycho groove rock tunes!

Warren de Pugtones, many thanks, very glad you found it moving! I try to land it in the spot between emotional and cheesy. Usually I end up with cheese on my feet.

Pogue de Distant Towers: Thanks much, and I look forward to hearing your guys' next efforts. Cool stuff.

Rscain you are one funky dude, I think we were in a band together in some past life. The whiskey's overpriced and watered down, and the brunette has hepatitis and a boyfriend in prison. And the drummer will hit on her first.

JamesG1213, any compliment from you is very welcome, happy you liked it.

Rimshot, I appreciate your comment very much! The main reason I don't overplay is because, I can't. We are all saved!  Thanks.

Mgh, thanks, the warmth of the piano is quite the thing. It's PEarl by Impact Soundworks (I think) but I've found that trying to make a sampled piano sound real is a trial and errorfest. EQ settings, reverb settings, a little limiting. Plus the great fun is, when you finally get it all sounding close to right, you render it with Export Audio, and Sonar picks a few midi notes to leave out. If they are not consequential notes, keep the render and call it done. But often it's a critical melody note that Sonar leaves out in the render. So it's time to re-render . . . x100.

cclarry, thanks and thank you again for all you do around here in the saving us money dept.!

cheers,
-Tom

Enjoyable piano instrumental. Beautiful tune and pleasant ambiance. I think I don't hear any too known melody lines... Great playing and sound.

Tom, piano is what captivates me most. A haunting start and carries beautifully.
This could be nice BGM for a soft yet intense movie scene. I thought the balance was pretty good, reverb just enough.
