something like a serious trouble

I was working on Excel 2003 during some hours, after something happened with computer and it shut down. My file started to pop up: The document Filename caused a serious error the last time it was opened. I don’t know any method to get it back. How to repair xls document?

A single post to a Cakewalk sub-forum about a problem with an old version of a Microsoft application? Can you spell Google?

That is rude. Google isn't perfect.  Sometimes a forum can provide better results.  Rude posts like these are easily found on Steam forums.

To some degree, I'd agree Paul, but it *was* meant in semi-jest presumably. Plus, I'm sure he could find much better or more specific answers in a forum more dedicated to those kinds of issue, with that kind of software.

O.K. So it is less than my usual compassionate response. Check out my history, I am not the ogre you might imagine. Nonetheless, there is a balance between the essence of Avalokiteshvara and Manjushri, and a grandmotherly response might not be appropriate in this case. A forum may well be the best source of information in this instance, but a Cakewalk forum, dedicated to computers, and in fact largely including operating system issues, but in no reasonable stretch of the imagination including MS Office software, is simply a dead end. If you had provided a link to the answer, instead of a criticism of my effort to re-direct the OP to a reasonable source, your point would have been secure. As it is you failed to help him and only managed to chide me for the admittedly unnecessarily sarcastic phrasing of my response. I apologize for this to the OP. Now get to work and Google his answer for him.
