sonar 3 stopping

Hi guys,
Can anyone help please im using sonar 3 with xp pro as a live set up. the laptop im using is second hand but a good one my main laptop gave the goast up a couple of months ago.the problem is everytime i press the space bar to start any track off just before it gets to the singing part the laptop stops it happenns from using from file and in play set,the lyrics are all sequenced its getting very anoying now can anyone HELP !! cheers.

    what soundcard are you using?  does sonar 3 give you a dropout message?

    wots in the laptop realtek,dropout message has come up but not all the time.i plugged a usb querty keyboard in and it worked ok with no stops could it be the spacebar in laptop keyboard.?
