sonar 7 not reading midi off
I have loaded prerecorded midi files that I have done over the past ten years using Cakewalk 3.0 (and a ten year old computer) onto sonar 7 and ewso gold with a new HP 1.82 TB hard drive, 8 GB ram. All known Vista tweaks have been done. During playback I get random notes sustaining. Help?

I THINK this might be what you're looking for. It's called MFX sustain. It's a small, free download. I had the same problem when I went to SHS6XL.

Not all sustain issues are host related. It might also have something to do with what ever hardware or soft synth your using for playback.
