sonar problems

Sonar is now more buggy than I have ever imagine a DAW could be. Random problems introduce themselves so often that I cant even start to troubleshoot.

Problems include... no meters in some tracks, cant drag random clips, some clips wont slip edit, distortion in bass forces me to keep bass way quiet in the mix.... I cant think of everything on the spot. but new problems daily!!!

Is it just me or is everyone experiencing problems with the newest updates? I am considering wiping my system clean and doing a fresh install because that would be faster than tinkering with every problem I have.

it sounds to me as you have a piece of hardware that is possibly outdated or causing problems.
how are you running the digi 2 ? as far as I know those drivers are  not supported in Digi 002 Rack.
in windows 10. maybe im wrong.

ive been running better then ever to be honest and most of the issues you explained in your first post, im not seeing at all.

ya this makes no sense to me and I have no logical explanation besides inferior hardware

Doesn't appear support for that interface and Windows 10, per the compatibility link below:

If Sonar was more buggy than ever then I believe others would have similar issues, and you would have seen them on the forum frequently.
Your sparse description of the issues doesn't give much to start guessing.
Locked clips? Tracks not expanded? Gain staging problems?
Is it a live bass (recorded audio) or a soft synth? If a real one, how does the waveform look? Has it clipped
already while recording? If something hasn't clipped at input, it shouldn't audibly clip in a 32 bit floating point
    environment.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
