sonar prof demo

just trying out the demo version(professional)and having a problem when recording
When i play a note i get a delay when trying to monitor the sound. How can i fix this so
i can record in sync with a prerecorded track?

    Hi. This sounds like latency. What kind of audio interface do you have, and which driver type do you use? (ASIO,MME, WASAPI etc) You could try lowering it in Preferences (P), Audio, Driver Settings.

    thanks. Using the soundcard(mme)drivers. I'll try that.

    Which version of Windows do you have? If Win 10, you could try the WASAPI drivers. They are supposedly better than MME (I am using WASAPI on my laptop).
