sonar x3 producer mouse click on midi/audio clip promote bug??

So, I usually left click to move/navigate the playhead (now time) so I noticed that I have accidentally clicked on the lower part of midi & audio clips and by doing that activated them and muted the other take lanes... which was not my intention!
is this "smart" "one click on bottom midi/audio clip solos the clicked clip and mutes the other takes" a default behaviour or a bug? it must be a bug right??
if its by design then it should be an option in the settings menu and not the default behaviour.
the way it is now Im ****ing up the good takes with the ones that I dont want (sure I can delete the unwanted but its nice to have them there just in case..)
I want the behaviour that was in x2, you select a clip and then "mute clip" you cant make accidentally misstakes this way and you have total control and it was much clear in x2 which clips was muted with its muted icon, now its just dimmed... not so clear..
and while Im on it, PLEASE!! PLEASE!! make the "track selected" more clear and visible, its less clearer than x2 now, its so hard to see what (current) track is activated....maybe a 2-3 pixel outline and some highlight on the track should do the trick ?! ..
