sonar6 producer wave studio doen't load

i can't use the wave studioi in pro6. it is listed in tools, but, when i try to open it it greys out. what can i do to use this to master my projects?

    what is "wave studio"? 

    I know that I have Sony SoundForge - a really old version, like 3 or something.  it initially shows up in the tools menu, but when I try to use it from inside sonar it doesn't start up and then greys out.

    I assumed that since a lot of people are using soundforge from inside sonar that my version was too old.

    wave studio is listed in the tools pulldown menu. i've been using nero wave editor. just wondering if i missed something.

    My guess is that it's software that's bundled with Sound Blaster cards.

    What is it you want to do with this software that you can't do in Sonar?
