soundcard output?

i have gt version2 and soundblaster live 5.1 card. 5.1 works fine with gt version2.my problem is i installed gt pro 3 and gt3 willnot play the 5.1 all i get is regular stereo not 5.1,5.1 works with everything else. i've been useing cakewalk for a long time but gt3 is my first upgrade anybody know whats wrong
