special offer email pricing

i keep getting emails that say i can upgrade to x3 for $149 but when i click the link it takes me to a store page that quotes €135  - how do i get the $149 offer? tia

    Where do you live?

    Did you originally buy Sonar in Euros? I would love to pay dollars but it appears I am forced to pay in the store I originally bought Sonar which often has unfavourable rates.

    Sell by date at 9000 posts. Do not feed.
    @48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.

    I don't know if it's still the case, but the first cakewalk product I bought was in 2007 and I paid in $. Subsequently, I've logged on to the UK store and paid in £, but both store accounts seem to be synced as my 2007 $ order appears alongside my subsequent £ orders. Anyone in Europe successfully tried to change location and pay in $?

    Don't think this is now possible. The unfavorable rates are because Europe pays Vat on top. The USA have a different way of taxing things so it isn't added to products as far as I know hence seemingly a better deal

    I called Cakewalk in Boston and even though I did not receive the email and the offer was not available in the web store, he extended me the $149 offer and apparently it's good through June.
     
    I think if you contact them directly they will hook you up.
