speeding up tracks

hi all
i am having an issue with playing back tracks
wave and midi combination....
when i play the tracks after saving
the song is sped up... does not happen every time....
has anyone got any ideas
tempo change will not slow it down
this bug has reared its ugly head before
and went away for a long time

amd 10-6700 apu, 3.70 ghz,24gb 16gb usable.
sonar platinum 64 bit operating system latest upgrades

    The only possible thing I can think of is "Sample Rate" differences.
    Are all your tracks at the same sample rate ? Are you using any 3rd party samples (loops, exc).
    If those are at a different sample rate it can lead to mismatched sample rates.
     
    Is it after export or in the sonar project itself ?

    If it's in SONAR itself, check the Tempo View. There are several ways to trick SONAR into thinking there has been a tempo change when you didn't intend to do so. 
     
    If it's in an exported file, does it sound sped up if played back in a different program (e.g., GrooveMusic) or in SONAR if you import it?
