static/popping feedback on Reason after inserting delay

I am rewiring Reason 5 into Sonar X1 (32 bit for the sake of Reason5)

I have not had any issues with playback until now, I added a Sonitus Delay effect on one clip of one track and now i get this static/reverbish sound on ONLY my Reason5 audio. If i mute the Reason track then its gone, but then so are my drums and a couple other instruments.
I can get rid of it temporarily sometimes by clicking the 'run/stop audio engine' button as well as the 'reseting midi & audio' button. but it eventually returns. sometimes even in the middle of playback.

I tried deleting the Sonitus delay and using the cakewalk delay but still i got the feedback.
