step sequencer out of sync with audio metronome

When playing back my step sequencer, there is about a half beat delay between it and the metronome. I recorded some other synth tracks and they playback just fine. I've never had latency issues before this; I did install the x1c patch. All the loops and synths playback on time. When watching the step sequencer's beat count, it's on time with itself, but it won't sync up with the metronome. It starts about a half beat late. Is there something I'm missing or is this a bug?

    Maybe the clip got moved? What synth is it driving?
