heres the funny thing, i took 32 bit samples of a juno 106 and shortend the wavs to one cycle and the play cool, does z3ta have any limits on the sampling rate , cuz i think the 106 samples are 44.1 and the galbanum 96 khz

I just double checked, loaded a 32bit 96kHz wave from Galbanum, and it worked just fine. Can you upload one of the waves you are having trouble with so I can see if I can reproduce your issue? Thanks,

I have no problem with Galbanum 32-bit 96kHhz waves in 2.1. I'm using the 2010 collection.

I'd be more than happy to help but are those commercial samples from Galbanum? I can't accept the commercial wavs due to redistribution issues but if Josh or someone from CW can clear it with Galbanum I can accept the wavs for testing purposes....

It's not a matter of the severity of the crime it's simply not legal to redistribute copyrighted material. If Josh or someone at CW can clear it with Galbanum I'd be happy to help with the research....It's something probably best handled through the Beta Forum........

I too can not load the Galbanum 2010 Architecture Collection 32-bit 96kHz waveforms into Z3TA+ 2.1 64-bit. They load fine into Rapture 64-bit and Dimension Pro 64-bit. The Galbanum CE collection 32-bit loads fine into Z3TA+2.1. I sent Josh Langberg one of the Galbanum 2010 Architecture files for his research. He said it might be an issue with the size of the file. I also sent the file that I'd converted into 44.1kHz. The 44.1kHz version ended up being almost twice as large. But it wouldn't load into Z3TA+ 2.1 either. I can still load the 44.1kHZ waveform into Rapture and Dimension Pro.

Chregg: "solved it, had to go into the subfolders and copy them in, now they load fine". Can you be more specific about the steps you took? I haven't heard back from Josh regarding the one example I sent him from the Galbanum 2010 Architecture Collection.

the galbanum 2010 wavs, its 2 folders you have to open to get to the folders where the wavs are, just copy all the folders with the wavs (i.e classic saw and so on) and they'll load ok !! hope that helps

Thanks Chregg. Just to confirm, are you copying and pasting the folders to the location where Z3TA+ 2.1 stores its user wave files? Seems like odd behavior for this program since it will load the Galbanum CE waveforms. Anyway, assuming I'm correct and I don't hear back via the forum, I'll give that a try. If it works I'll let Josh know. Thanks again!

I copied the Galbanum folder "Architecture Waveforms 2010 Wav32" to the z3ta wavetables folder (immediately inside the Galbanum folder should be "Add - BinAdd Arth", "Add - BinAdd Fib", etc.) In Windows 7 the default location is C:\Cakewalk Content\Z3TA+ 2\Wavetables. I have no problem loading and playing the Galbanum files from that location.

Thanks very jma, I figured that's what Chregg was getting at. I tried that, however, still no joy, as when I attempt to Load User 1 Wave in an initialized, standalone Z3TA+ 2.1 it does not show me nor can I hear the sound of the waveform that I'm expecting to hear. If I try a different Galabanum waveform from the same collection it shows the same waveform shape and sounds exactly the same. As I mentioned in another post, I can load these same waveforms into standalone Rapture and Dimension Pro. In Rapture I can see an approximation of their shape and in both Rapture and Dimension Pro I can hear the differences between them.

That's exactly the problem I had in 2.0. Strange you're still seeing it in 2.1. Until you find a solution, there is the option of batch converting the entire collection to 16-bit. That's what I did and they worked fine for me in 2.0.

Ok, I've figured out what my problem based on jma and Chregg's feedback. I have my Z3TA+ content in a non-standard location. My theory is that Z3TA+ 2.1 is unable to process the full directory structure and therefore can't load the waveform. I copied one of the waveforms and pasted it directly into the Z3TA+ Wavetables folder and I was able to load it up in Z3TA+. I then moved all the individual folders so they are immediately below the Wavetables folder and now I'm able to load any of the individual waveforms. Hoorah and thanks very much for your help!

Thanks for the offer jackpollard, but this has been resolved, at least to Chregg and my satisfaction. The problem we were having was that the waveforms had to be located in a specific place, otherwise Z3TA+ 2 simply refused to load them. It's odd behavior since both Dimension Pro and Rapture could load them from the original location in which I had them on my system.
