Cakewalk's metronome has been buggy for years. Often you can't hear the first click, so a 4 count lead in sounds like 3, for instance. If you change meter in the middle of a piece, and you start recording there, the old meter is played for the first bar, Then the new meter kicks in. For instance, you have a 4/4 piece which switches to a 6/8 segment. If you start recording at the beginning of the 6/8 section, the metronome will play 4/4, and then after a measure, it starts clicking off 6/8. It's been like that forever with me--I've gotten used to counting in the way the metronome is forcing me to so I can come in on time, but that's pretty flakey. RB
