sum stereo to mono...

Does X1 have a plug-in or feature that will sum stereo to mono without phase cancellation or other degradation?

If not, does anyone know of a third-party product that will accomplish this?

Thanks.

Sonar have a plugin for convert stereo to mono:Channel Tools.
You must insert in the channel you want convert.
But remember, the plugin dont produce any kind of degradation,if you have phase problems is because your audio is out of phase.
Is a problem of your audio, not of the plugin.

You can sum stereo to mono easily for clips. In the track view, select the clip, then go Clips > Convert to Mono.

You can also convert Mono to Stereo, which is handy when using plug-ins that can't cope with mono tracks.

To hear how a track will sound in mono without converting, go to the Console view, and change the interleave button (just above a channel's Mute button) from Stereo to Mono.
