swing 'n sway

Hi all,

Been away for a month or so 'cause of computer problems. The issue seems to be semi-fixed so here's a tune I recorded the other day: swing 'n sway

Questions, comments and/or complaints always welcome!

Looking forward to hearing what everyone has been up to for the past couple of weeks.

Thanks!

Always smile when I see a post from you Gary, and this is no exception :-) Played it for a buddy of mine who's visiting and he really liked it as well! He said, yeah it takes a guitar player to know one :-) And I said, no "this guy is really good, I'm just OK."

I have a complaint!  Every time I hear you play I hide my guitar.  I can't find it this time!  Perfection as always, my friend.  So clean and so beautiful.

BIABDude: Hi, thanks for listening and for the +1's. The guitar is a Collings 0002H.

ohgrant: Hi, Grant. "ear candy"...I like that Thank you...glad you liked the tune.

Dreambliss: Hi, Luke. Thanks very much.

notnat: Hi Frank, how have you been? It's always great to hear from you. Thanks for checking out the tune and I'm glad you liked it.

    rynosynth:
This is what happens when Joe Pass chills out on the porch.

    haha! Thank you, much appreciated.

bandontherun19: Hey Robby, thanks very much for checking out the song and playing it for your buddy. I'm glad you guys liked it. Also, thanks for the details on how you got that great acoustic sound on your latest tune...I've gotta try that xy setup. And finally...you're way better than "just OK".

evadianepug: WARREN! Man, it is great to see you back here! Thanks for your ears and your kind words. Glad to see you're on the mend.

No How: Hi Rick, thanks for stopping by. Glad you liked the tune. Fantastic job on "Fall (hard on me)"...great stuff from you, as always.

bayoubill: Thanks, Bill. I really like your playing, as well.  As soon as I have time I'm gonna have to try and steal some of your licks from "Mary Lee"...love that stuff!

morenoise: Hi Rik, how have you been? Great to hear from you. Glad you like the tune and I'll do my best to "Keep on swinging"

Thatsastrat: Hi and thanks for your kind words. I was surprised, to say the least, when I clicked on the link and got taken to a Tommy Emmanuel video...Tommy Emmanuel!!! Man, he's ( in my opinion ) one of the greatest guitar players ever to pick up the instrument. So, although I know I'm not fit to carry his guitar case, you totally made my day Thanks.

Thanks again to everyone for your time and your ears.

    Hello Gary,
Both your Collings & your playing are smooth.  Only you could play a piece like this with so little finger squeeks. The mix sounds clean on my end.  EXCELLENT job Gary!

    Hi Gary,
Everytime I hear one of your new tracks, I end up listening to all your songs (BTW, this is a good thing...lol). Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful talent and this song is also another exceptional perfomance/mix.
Edit: (question)  Do you mic your guitar or is it plugged in direct?
